Business West is a not-for-profit company with 200 staff and a turnover of £10million, they aim to make the area they cover the best place to live and work (Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Devon, Somerset, Dorset and Cornwall).

21,000 businesses trust them to start and grow as well as lobby government on their behalf.  Profits are reinvested back into the business in order to achieve their mission.

The purpose of Business West is to help businesses of all sizes take advantage of the opportunities and address the problems created by the modern globalised business world so they may successfully start, grow, export and innovate. More than this though, their desire is for a region rich in culture, devoid of inequality and poverty. Put simply they want the region to be the place to live, work, learn and prosper.

Renewable Hub became a GWE Business West member in March 2017 and the synergies between the two organisations quickly became apparent to both parties.

Initially, GWE Business West engaged Renewable Hub to source new energy contracts for their portfolio of sites including Leigh Court, a traditional Grade II listed mansion house built in 1814 from Bath stone and which is one of the South West’s most prestigious venues for weddings, corporate and private hire as well as serviced office space.  www.leighcourt.co.uk

Over the coming months and years, Renewable Hub will work with GWE Business West to help reduce operating costs for more of their 21,000-strong membership and our charitable arm will look to assist GWE to achieve their desire of making the region one devoid of poverty.
